Writing TO THE MAX was such a wild ride. I had so many transitions and adventures last year that were so crazy in so many regards. I met the love of my life, I finally left that wretched abusive home, I got my name legally changed (THE NEWEST ADDITION OMG 🥹) and I got engaged to my fiancée in September. Writing for the record began essentially directly after the move (Late June) and it was so hard to get all of my emotions into a form of media. When you go through so many crazy moments, you kiss in the rain for the first time, first time ever having s*x, getting engaged on a random Sunday to the most crazy but loving woman ever, this album was such a rollercoaster to create. I knew immediately the second I began that it was going to be a ride (hence why it was initially called RIDE), but with so many vulnerable ballads, jabs at my dead family, and so many fun songs that I have always wanted to create, this album being self titled made so much more sense than it ever did before. I debated just calling it MAX, but my fiancée was the one that actually came up with TO THE MAX, and it was such a cool idea.

This emotional turmoiled rollercoaster was my life for the past year, and it is now ours, forever. Thank you Roxanne for getting me through some of the hardest times in my entire life, thank you to my mother-in-law for getting me out of that house, thank you to all of the people who heard parts of my music all around the world and decided I was even remotely worth your listen. This album could not have been made without some of the most amazing people to exist. Now, without further ado, lets go TO THE MAX together!
